Stadia? How it's better than your gaming console?



Stadia is a Cloud Gaming Service hosted by Google capable of streaming video games up to 4K reolution at 60fps with support for high-dynamic-range via company's numerous data centers across the globe. They need a very high-speed Internet Connection or probably 5G Network. It can be accessed through the Google Chrome Browser on desktops, Pixel Smartphones, supported smartphones from Samsung, Razer and Asus, Chrome OS Tablets and Chromecast.

Being hosted in cloud, it does not require computer hardware, but only fast Internet connection and support for Google Chrome. It supports consecutive YouTube Streaming & cooperatively playing the same game with friends, to have picture-in-picture inserts on their display of their friend's point of view in game. It allow for large number of concurrent players on a game server.

Stadia offers two tiers of service, a free Base level and a monthly subscription Pro level. The Pro tier costs approximately US $10 per month, allowing users to access higher streaming rates, accesses a library of free games over time, and get discounts on other games offered by Stadia.
